Hal Bruno Named Honorary Chief of the District of Columbia Fire Department

On December 18, Hal Bruno, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Directors, was made an honorary Fire Chief of the District of Columbia Fire Department. This honor was bestowed by Fire Chief Dennis Rubin in recognition of Bruno's lifelong service as a volunteer in fire departments in locations where he resided and his continued dedication and support of the Nation's fire service. In addition, Mr. Bruno was recognized for his years of support to the District of Columbia Fire Department through his membership with the Friendship Fire Association.
