Life Insurance – County provides full-time permanent employees with basic life insurance. The benefit amount is 1x annual salary. Eligibility begins after 6 months of employment.

County employee pension pays pre-retirement death benefit of 50x projected monthly payment for full-time employees who are fully vested in the plan, which occurs after 5 years of employment.
