Non-profit organization of individuals and business leaders who provide support to families of emergency service personnel after a line-of-duty death. Within 24 hours following a death, the family receives a financial contribution from Shield 24-7 and a representative is assigned as a mentor. Usually within 2-3 weeks, the organization will meet with the family to discuss the family’s financial situation.

Shield 24-7 has a presence in the following counties: Camden, Clark, Crawford, Franklin, Gasconade, Knox, Lewis, Macon, Maries, Miller, Osage, Perry, St. Francois, and St. Genevieve. It is working to expand statewide.
