“The Survivor of a Participant who is killed in the line of duty on or after January 1, 1968 shall receive during his/her lifetime the Retirement Benefit which the Participant had accrued at the time of his/her death, payable commencing with the Participant’s death, regardless of the number of years of Service which the Participant had completed at his/her death.”
