National Fallen Firefighters Holiday Trees & Annual Tree Lighting

Remember Your Firefighter with an Ornament on the National Fallen Firefighters Holiday Trees

Learn More About the 2015 National Fallen Firefighter Tree Lighting

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation continues its tradition of honoring America’s fallen firefighters with the Annual National Fallen Firefighters Tree Lighting. Each year during the holiday season, ornaments, holiday cards, and notes from families and friends of fallen firefighters adorn trees in and around the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Chapel.

New in 2015! The Pre-1981 LODD Holiday Tree

This year, we are excited to announce that we will have a holiday tree for our pre-1981 LODDs. We encourage families to send us an ornament in memory of your loved one. You’re also welcome to join us for the National Fallen Firefighters Holiday Tree Lighting on December 10, 2015. When sending your ornament, please add Pre-1981 to the label. If you have any additional questions about the Pre-1981 LODD Holiday Tree, please E-mail dclark@firehero.org.

Remembering Your Firefighter

You can remember your loved one by sending an ornament to be placed on one of our holiday trees. These ornaments will be used every year, so they will not be returned.

Please send your ornaments to:
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation
c/o Holiday Tree Program
PO Drawer 498, Emmitsburg, MD 21727

In order to have your ornament placed before the Tree Lighting, we will need to receive your ornament by December 7, 2015.

If we receive your ornament after December 7, 2015 it will be placed on the tree and remain there until January.
