Make Your #GivingTuesday a #FireHeroTuesday

In this season of giving thanks, we celebrate you, our nation’s firefighters, who answer the call to duty without hesitation. We also remember those firefighters who gave their lives while serving our communities as we continue to honor and support their families.

In 2018, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) will again mark #GivingTuesday as #FireHeroTuesday. You can answer the call on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, to honor America’s fallen fire heroes, assist their families, and work to prevent firefighter line-of-duty deaths and injuries. Support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. This occurs annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the US) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season.

“Through the generosity that Giving Tuesday encourages, we know we will be able to develop new and expand existing programs and services to meet the needs of everyone in our care,” said Chief Ronald Siarnicki, Executive Director of the NFFF.
