NFFF Connect: Gratitude

In Issue #90 of The Journey, Vickie Taylor reminded us that gratitude is a practice and that there are some simple things we can do, even on the toughest days, to remind us of all that is good.

  • Keep a journal. Each day write down 3 things for which you are grateful. It’s that simple.
  • At the dinner table, ask each person to say one thing from that day for which they are grateful.
  • Say Thank You! Write a note of appreciation to someone who has had a positive impact on your life or someone who is helping in your community.

Remember, gratitude is good for us. It amplifies the good, rescues us from the grip of negativity, and connects us with the goodness in our lives. The more we practice gratitude, the more we will find to be grateful for in our daily life.
