The fire chief, two firefighters, and the chief fire inspector of the Wichita Fire Department were killed when the roof of an auto dealership collapsed. Two other firefighters were also injured. The chief was celebrating his 36th wedding anniversary with his wife and another couple when the alarm was sounded.
