We’re proud to share the international television debut of First Responders Center for Excellence (FRCE) Director Frank Leeb and National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) Chief Advancement Officer Anne Marie Judge on RAI Italia 3, where they joined an important conversation about firefighter health, safety, and environmental exposures.

The segment explored the growing concerns surrounding PFAS contamination and its impact on firefighters, while also highlighting the many environmental hazards firefighters encounter throughout their careers in service to their communities. From toxic smoke and chemical exposures to emerging occupational health risks, the discussion shed light on the lifelong challenges firefighters face long after the alarm bells stop ringing.

We were honored to welcome the RAI Italia crew—especially acclaimed journalist Sabrina Giannini and Alberto Calderoni, for the opportunity to discuss these critical issues and help bring greater international awareness to the health and safety concerns affecting firefighters around the world.

Our thanks to Sabrina and the entire RAI Italia team for helping tell this important story and for shining a spotlight on the ongoing efforts to protect those who dedicate their lives to protecting others.
