Mike Robertson is a 33 year veteran of the Air Force Fire Emergency Services. He retired from active duty in 1998 after 20 years of service and has continued serving the Air Force the past 12 years at the Louis F. Garland DOD Fire Academy at Goodfellow AFB, TX. Currently, Mr. Robertson serves as the Chief of Training Development, where is he responsible for the curriculum for 18 International Fire Service Accreditation Congress courses taught at the DOD Fire Academy, which serves all Military and DOD Civilian Firefighters.
Mr. Robertson serves as the President of the Military Firefighter Heritage Foundation in San Angelo, Texas. He also has been involved with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation since 2006 where he recently was appointed to serve on the Advisory Committee. Mr. Robertson serves on the Memorial Weekend Planning committee as the military liaison.
Mr. Robertson and his wife Janet have two sons and reside in San Angelo, Texas.
