Dana Vandergrift joined the Foundation staff in October 2018 as an Outreach Assistant. She came to the Foundation after working as a Client Service Specialist and Advocate for Survivors, Inc., in Gettysburg, Pa. Dana’s training specialized in trauma, crisis management and risk assessment. She has presented on Traumatic Brain Injury at the KCIT Community Crisis Response Conference in State College, Pa. In addition, she has made presentations at PCADV, several police departments, the YWCA York and Survivors, Inc., on various topics. She is an expert witness on sexual assault, Domestic Violence, and Human Traffic. Dana is also a state trainer in Pennsylvania for mandated reporters. She has also coordinated adult and children’s support groups.
Dana is a collegiate women’s head volleyball coach and has coached on the USCAA and Division I levels. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University, and has numerous certifications. Dana lives in Littlestown, Pa., with her husband and children.
