The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is proud to announce that we have earned a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator. This is the sixth consecutive time the NFFF has earned this top distinction. We are equally excited to announce that the NFFF has earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency which is the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar. This was accomplished by showcasing the progress and results we are making toward our mission.
In advance of the 4th of July holiday, Pelican Products held a one-day promotion pledging to donate 100% of the sell price of their 30QT Americana Elite Coolers to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The promotion on pelican.com/shop resulted in a donation of $7,500 to the NFFF.
The NFFF is proud to partner with Cintas, a national leader in Fire Protection. Cintas Fire Protection’s generous contribution will sponsor our National Stair Climb in Belmont Park, New York, and our Stair Climb program nationally. The funds from those events provide direct support to the families of fallen firefighters and supports programs of the FDNY. Cintas will also be sponsoring and hosting NFFF learning and development courses for local fire departments and leadership to promote our Prevent the Preventable (PtP) programs nationwide.
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) introduces the NFFF Giving Circle, honoring donors who give $1,000 or more a year. The Giving Circle’s four levels are designed to offer exclusive opportunities for greater involvement with the NFFF. If your circumstances allow it, we hope you will consider becoming a member.
A time-honored tradition in the Fire Service, “Fill the Boot” campaigns traditionally raised funds in the community that were crucial for maintaining a fire department including equipment, apparatus, and other department needs. This two inch 9/11 20th Anniversary Commemorative Challenge Coin features a 3D rendering of the 9-11 Memorial in the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
