My dad loved the fire service. He was involved with the fire department for many years. Two of his uncles were part of the founding members of the department. Firefighting was a family affair for our family. My mom and I were then‚ and still are‚ firefighters. My younger brother was a junior firefighter then. Now he has achieved the rank of Lieutenant. I know my dad would be proud of him.

My dad was also involved in his church. He was a poll manager when election times rolled around. He was a Shriner‚ Mason‚ and in the Order of the Eastern Star. He loved his community.

He also loved his family. He left behind a wife‚ 2 sons‚ a daughter‚ a sister‚ a brother‚ and 2 nephews that he loved dearly. We all miss him very much!!!
