My Father had 28 years of service to the Chesterfield Fire Department. He also helped found Lanes Creek Fire Department in NC. He served 10 years there. He was a Lieutenant and the department’s treasurer.
He loved the fire service and his family and community. He was very involved in his church also. He is greatly missed by all. He gave the best piece of advice to me as a fellow fireman. Do your best all the time and always remember – you can’t help anybody if you don’t get there. He drove safe.
