Using the backdrop of President Harry S. Truman’s birthplace in Independence, and his 1947 Conference on Fire Prevention as a guide, the key components of the summit will include a series of plenary sessions to share information followed by smaller discussion groups. The seven main topics for this 2.5-day meeting will include:
