Men Forging Ahead – Everyone Goes Home®

October 23, 2021, 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Did you know that men who have experienced a similar loss can be some of your strongest sources of support?

The Men Forging Ahead group is forever linked to the fire service through our own Fire Heroes, and sometimes, as firefighters ourselves.

Join Eric Nagle from the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) and the fathers, sons, and brothers in the Fire Hero Family community on Saturday, October 23rd, at 3:00 pm (ET) for our monthly Men Forging Ahead program. We will wrap-up our interesting and engaging look inside the current NFFF Fire Service Programs support efforts as we are joined by guest speaker, Rick Best, Everyone Goes Home® Advocate Program Manager. Rick manages a nationwide network of more than 100 state and regional fire service representatives who serve as volunteer trainers to deliver our Courage to Be Safe® and Leadership, Accountability, Culture, and Knowledge (LACK) courses.

I learned a lot more about these guys and their thoughts and challenges surrounding their loss. While I understand my own loss, I intend to keep this in mind as I interact with them and others in the future. Please consider this effort a success and thank you for all that the Foundation does for us every day.” – Anonymous
