September 24, 2022, 3:00pm – 4:30pm
If you haven’t yet attended a gathering of Men Forging Ahead (MFA), September would be a great time to start! Our guest presenter this month is Retired Lieutenant Earl Lincoln, who will be sharing his experiences as a long-time member of the NFFF Flag Raising & Folding Detail team.
For those family members who have received a folded flag at the NFFF Memorial Weekend, this symbol is incredibly meaningful. Many family members have shared that they would like to know more about what goes into preparations for the Memorial Weekend. Earl will share his perspective on what preparing these flags to present to family members means to him and what it means to the men and women who volunteer for this detail.
MFA is our casual “for men only” virtual peer support group that meets monthly. It is open to all Fire Hero Family husbands/life partners, sons/stepsons, and brothers/stepbrothers, age 18 and up. This is your chance to meet the group and hear a bit more about the Men’s Retreat and to learn about Men Forging Ahead (MFA)!
