Men Forging Ahead - Holiday Memories and New Traditions

Did you know that men who have experienced a similar loss can be some of your strongest sources of support?

For many, the holiday season is intertwined with memories of their fallen fire hero. Looking back can bring tears—but fond chuckles, too.

During our December gathering, those who’d like to can share their favorite holiday memories. We’ll also brainstorm ways to incorporate those memories into new traditions as a way of honoring our fire heroes.

Join Eric Nagle of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) and the fathers, sons, and brothers in the Fire Hero Family community on Saturday, December 18th (the weekend prior to Christmas), at 3:00 pm (ET) for our monthly Men Forging Ahead program. We will gather to provide support and encouragement to one another in focusing on the positive.

As hard as it is for me to talk about my son, I love to talk about him. Sounds crazy to most but not to those that understand and that is exactly what we have with all these guys.” – Anonymous
