Men Forging Ahead – What Will Your Firefighter’s Legacy Be?

July 24, 2021, 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Men Forging Ahead -Legacy

Did you know that men who have experienced a similar loss can be some of your strongest sources of support?

As our nation approaches the 20th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, we reflect upon the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s mission to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes, to provide resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives, and work within the Fire Service Community to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries. A key component of honoring those we have lost entails finding ways to ensure that they are never forgotten. What will your firefighter’s legacy be?

Join Eric Nagle from the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, and the fathers, sons, and brothers in the Fire Hero Family community on Saturday, July 24th, at 3:00 pm (ET) for our monthly Men Forging Ahead gathering where we’ll explore and brainstorm ideas to organize a tribute to your firefighter such as annual events, memorials, to challenge coins, and scholarships. Hear some suggestions from those in this group who have already taken steps in that direction.

Even though I had met some of the participants before, I learned a lot more about them and their thoughts and challenges. It is so touching to hear the guys say that they feel so much more comfortable in this setting to share their feelings along with quite a few laughs.” – Anonymous
