The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation launched its Incident Commander-to-Incident Commander (IC to IC) Network in 2020 to support incident commanders involved in a firefighter fatality. This webinar will feature Chief Steven Shaffer, Boston Fire Department, the initial Incident Commander of a nine-alarm fire in a four-story brick row house that killed two firefighters in Boston, Massachusetts on March 26, 2014. Chief Shaffer will discuss the incident and share his experiences in dealing with the aftermath.
