For a $20 donation or more, you can attend the reception with free pizza, beer (age 21+), popcorn, and soft drinks, watch the film, and stay for the Q&A and silent auction. This special evening supports the mission of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to honor America’s fallen fire heroes, assist their families, and work to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries.
SILO, inspired by true events, follows a harrowing day in an American farm town. Disaster strikes when teenager Cody (Jack DiFalco) becomes the victim of a grain entrapment accident. Family, neighbors, and first responders must put aside their differences to rescue him from drowning in the 50-foot-tall silo where corn quickly turns to quicksand. Shedding light on an issue plaguing rural America, SILO shows how dangerous modern farming can be, while also highlighting the ways in which communities’ band together to look after one another.
