Firefighter Coppedge was on the 2nd floor of a residential structure fire, when he ran out of air. He died due to smoke inhalation, according to news reports and members who were on the scene. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Coppedge Busky, and his sister, Sharon Caffee.
