Firefighter Andrew Wade Jenks, age 37, of the Lynchburg Fire Department died on July 6, 2024, from complications of cancer.
The National Emergency Training Center (NETC) campus will be closed during the government shutdown, including access to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
