Forestry Technician Benjamin Charles Sapper, age 21, of the USDA Forest Service – Gold Beach Ranger District died on August 4, 2023, in a motor vehicle accident while moving equipment.
The National Emergency Training Center (NETC) campus will be closed during the government shutdown, including access to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
