  12. After 911 I bought a bracelet and the funds went to the memorial for the firefighters families. I receivedTeddy’s bracelet and wore religiously for years and prayed for him every day. I went to New York City the year they opened the memorial for all those who lost their lives on 911. I bought the bracelet and left it next to Teddy’s name at the memorial pool. I don’t know if it was collected and kept for the museum as it was not open at that time. I hope so or in someway it made it to his family and they wondered where did this come from? I just found this memorial wall to leave a note and so I am and I hope you receive it this many years later as I will never forget Teddy and his bravery.

  19. I wanted “”Tedwards” family to know that he is not forgotten. I’m retired now, but remember coming to his visitation almost 20 years ago. I did not know Teddy personally. He was a brother firefighter with the biggest fire dept in the country, but still a brother. I remember at the visitation there was a video playing with him wearing the jean shorts like we wore back then, and with all the different members of his family on the video and there. Then looking around at the 70 or so people at the visitation where at any other time,, there would be thousands of firefighters there and seeing that they were all your family was there….Except him. I remember your family thanking us for coming…..I was in total disbelief,…..you had the ultimate loss, and were thanking us for coming. I’ll never forget that.
