My daddy was my knight in shining armor! I wanted to be just like him when I grew up. Now‚ almost ten years after his death‚ I still think about him every day.

As a fire department member myself‚ there is not a time that I walk through those doors into the station that I don’t think about him. He was one of a kind that no one could ever replace. He was a wonderful father and friend but most importantly my ‘daddy’.

It will be ten years since he has been gone soon and I want you all to know that even though the pain remains‚ life must go on! We will always miss our fallen heroes‚ but they will never be lost to our hearts. Keep your head up and trust in God‚ because he never builds a mountain that we can not climb.
