Jerry Litell had 23 years of service with the department. He was just promoted to Fire Investigator. He received numerous awards and honors.

He was a loving father‚ husband‚ brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife Ida Litell; son Vincent Litell; and daughters‚ Therese Kingsbury‚ Beth Overton and Mary Hinson. He has 5 grandchildren‚ Jay‚ Mike‚ Samantha‚ Tyler and Jerra.

He was a wonderful man‚ who loved what he did. I will always remember the special trips to the fire station where we climbed in the trucks and dreamed about being firefighters.
