John M. Hall

Deputy Chief John M. Hall served the citizens of Bladen County‚ North Carolina‚ for 21 years. Hall was an active volunteer firefighter with Elizabethtown Fire Department and the Bladenboro Fire Department. He also served as the deputy chief for the Clarkton Fire Department.

Hall served as a deputy fire marshal for Bladen County Emergency Services‚ providing assistance on numerous occasions to every department within the county. He brought a new level of professionalism and compassion to the fire service in Bladen County.

Hall was a dedicated volunteer for the American Red Cross‚ assisting many families and providing shelter services in the aftermath of local disasters.

Deputy Chief Hall was born in Smithfield‚ Virginia‚ on September 21‚ 1964. He is survived by his mother‚ Kay Hagerman‚ of Holden Beach‚ North Carolina‚ and his son‚ Michael Hall (Ashlie)‚ of Bladenboro. He was preceded in death by his father‚ Teddy S Hall‚ who served as a volunteer firefighter in Virginia.

John Hall was the kind of individual who could be called at a moment’s notice‚ provide the assistance needed‚ and be there for the long haul. John was a great example of a good hearted‚ compassionate‚ dedicated‚ and loving person who cared deeply for the citizens he served. He was truly an asset to the entire county‚ and his presence will continue to be sorely missed.
