Kenneth Wayne Taylor

Submitted by his wife

Kenny was a wonderful man. Once you met him you would never forget him or his beautiful blue eyes. Some people said Kenny had the eyes of an angel. To his family Kenny was an angel. Kenny was a devoted husband‚ father‚ grandfather‚ brother‚ son and friend. Kenny would do anything for anyone.

He was unselfish and always thought of others before himself. Kenny was a career firefighter. He joined the Madisonville Fire Department in 1976. Kenny loved being a firefighter. Kenny spent many days and nights at the fire department and met many men and women who became like a second family to Kenny. Kenny’s fellow firefighters knew him very well and knew he could play a tough game of cards‚ be a great practical joker and most important be a serious‚ professional firefighter when needed. While off duty from the fire department Kenny had a second job laying and refinishing hardwood floors. As with the rest of Kenny’s life he took this job very seriously.

Kenny was an artist when it came to hardwood floors and there are many beautiful floors around to prove it. In his spare time which was rarely‚ Kenny loved to hunt‚ fish‚ garden‚ play cards and spend time with family and friends. On many occasions family and friends gathered for BBQ’s and a good game of horseshoes and sometimes a practical joke or two. These gatherings made Kenny very happy. He loved to see other people happy and having fun. Kenny’s family and friends will never forget the wonderful man he was and he will be in our hearts and prayers forever.
