Ralph William Stanbery‚ 62‚ a volunteer firefighter with the Granby Volunteer Fire Department‚ died of a heart attack at the scene of a trash fire on April 22‚ 1998. Stanbery‚ who served in the National Guard for nearly 40 years‚ was a board member of the Granby Church.
