Robert W. Johnson

Robert Walter “BoJo” Johnson, 62, of Mahopac, New York, passed away on April 10, 2016, at Putnam Hospital Center.

Mr. Johnson was born on March 20, 1954, to Carl Walter and Eunice (Gorman) Johnson, in Bronxville, New York.

On November 21, 1981, he married the love of his life, Susan O’Shea, at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Mahopac, New York.

During the Vietnam Era, he proudly served his country as a fireman with the U.S. Air Force.

Robert was a fireman for West Point and was in the FDNY with Engine 81 in the Bronx, where he served as a chauffeur.

His favorite pastime was tinkering in the garage.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Susan; his two loving children, Timothy Johnson and Veronica Johnson; his sister, Judith (Douglas) Ramsay; his two nephews, Alan Ramsay and Jeffrey Ramsay; and his beloved dog, Charlie, who knew the meaning of being a man’s best friend.
