2015-2016 Scholarship Recipients

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and its partners awarded 70 scholarships to 61 children, 3 stepchildren, and 6 spouses.

Our 2015 – 2016 scholars include 47 are previous scholarship recipients and 23 are new recipients. They are preparing for careers ranging from Christian Ministry to Criminal Justice and several recipients are enrolled in a Fire Science program.

Thanks to a very generous donation from Motorola and the NFFF partnerships with ICMA-RC, National Association of Fire Marshalls, Global Health and Safety, The College Board and countless other donations made towards the NFFF Scholarship Program, this year, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation was able to award 70 scholarships totaling over $210,000.

The Foundation has awarded $855,800 since 1997.
In addition, scholarship partners have awarded over $2,426,900 since 2001.
