The Blauvelt Fire Department honored Al “Foxie” DeFlumere, ex-chief of department, on Saturday, October 26, 2013 with a dedication of a road off of Route 303 in Blauvelt, NY.
Street Dedication – John P. Fogarty
The corner of Bea Avenue and Joy Place was dedicated to John P. Fogarty on January 6, 2022 in the Town of Brookhaven, New York.
Firefighter Kendall J. Murphy Memorial Bridge
The Town of Montgomery completed a new bridge over the railroad tracks that lead to the school where Kendall coached. Family and friends gathered on October 24, 2023, for a ribbon cutting and dedication of the new bridge named the “Firefighter Kendall J. Murphy Memorial Bridge.”
Firefighter Robert Fowler Memorial Highway
A portion of NY-259 from Lyell Avenue to Nichols Street near the Spencerport Fire Department is now named “Firefighter Robert Fowler Memorial Highway.”
