Within 24 hours of the tragedy, a representative of the Club delivers a check in the amount of $10,000 to provide funds for immediate expenses. Children of a fallen first responder receive $100 at each birthday through their 18th year. Later, depending on the need, the Club may provide further assistance for the family (e.g., emotional, financial, and/or legal). The Club also serves as trustee, on behalf of the fallen officer’s family, of funds donated by the public.
