Volunteer Personnel
In addition to the Federal PSOB and Virginia State benefits enumerated in the Virginia Retirement System (VRS), volunteers are provided with accident/injury and life insurance through Chesterfield Insurance. This policy includes $100,000 life insurance coverage.

Career Personnel
Career personnel are covered by provisions of the Virginia Retirement System (VRS) with an option to purchase additional insurance coverage.
