National Fallen Firefighters Foundation/FDNY Memorial: Honoring Post-9/11 Heroes

For FDNY Families

This special weekend will honor the service and sacrifice of your loved one and the other firefighters being honored this year.

This special service will honor your loved ones—whose names are being added to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, Maryland. To bring this moment of remembrance closer to home, the ceremony will be held at the College of Staten Island, making it easier for Fire Hero Families and colleagues to gather, reflect, and honor their legacy together.

While this may not be your first memorial—this ceremony is a powerful reminder that their sacrifice has not been forgotten. You’ll be surrounded by fellow FDNY families, friends, and firefighters who knew and served alongside your loved one. This is a time to reflect, reconnect, and feel the strength of the fire service community that continues to carry their legacy forward. It’s a moment of healing, remembrance, and lasting solidarity

This is an opportunity to connect with other Fire Hero Families, NFFF staff, and members of the FDNY community in a relaxed and supportive setting.
