Independent Audit and Tax Services
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is soliciting proposals from certified public accounting firms to conduct an audit of its fiscal year ending December 31, 2020, financial statements and to prepare the related tax returns. It is assumed consolidated financial statements as well as stand-alone financial statements and tax returns will need to be issued for the NFFF and FRCE. The audits are to be conducted in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States and must be completed, in order to deliver final copies of the financial statements and auditor’s reports by July 1, 2021.

Major Gifts Officer (Crofton Office)
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) is seeking a Major Gifts Officer who is a detail-oriented and highly energetic professional with a track record of attracting and cultivating relationships with current and prospective donors. He/she is responsible for developing major gift solicitation and stewardship strategies for corporate partners and individual donors, as well as managing the activities of the NFFF’s Partners Council. Essential duties include identifying major gift prospects, cultivating relationships with new prospects and current donors, planning, and executing fundraising events, and representing the NFFF at national, state, and local events. This position works out of our Crofton, MD office and has a significant amount of travel (up to 50%), and public speaking is required.
