Robby Dean Blizzard‚ 24‚ a volunteer firefighter with the Arrington Volunteer Fire Department‚ died while trapped in a warehouse fire outside Goldsboro on November 6‚ 1998. This incident also claimed volunteer firefighter Hubert Sidney Jones. Blizzard was also a career firefighter with the Goldsboro Fire Department.

I remember thing about that day… the phone call, the drive home down, the day we stood in the graveyard at the edge of dark. I know he died doing what he loved to do but God knows he is missed so much down here!!
