Amy Moorman

Amy has made the Dean’s list three times and is on the honor roll. She will graduate cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice on May 21. She plans to continue her education and earn her master’s degree in legal studies. Her goal is to become a legal advocate for the families of fallen first responders who have died in the line of duty.

She volunteers in her community in the Aut2Run event for the Autism Society of Ventura. They provide support, assistance, and classes for individuals with Autism and their families. When not volunteering, Amy provides guidance and support to her two adult children while financially supporting the home.

Amy is committed to turning her loss into an opportunity to serve others. Deputy Chief Graham Everette says, “Amy is resilient, tenacious, and remains committed to advancing her education to secure her family’s future and opening employment opportunities for herself.”

Amy’s previous scholarships were made possible with support from the
Motorola Solutions Foundation.
