Caroline is currently in her last semester and will be receiving her bachelor’s degree in health sciences. She will be returning to school in the fall to begin pursuit of her bachelor’s in nursing. Caroline plans to work as a nurse practitioner upon graduating.

She currently is active in the University of North Florida Hearts for Homeless club. Caroline participates in activities to assist the homeless community in Jacksonville, such as community blood pressure screenings to help identify those with hypertension. She shares that she has not been able to volunteer as much as she would like due to her academic studies and her need to work to provide for her living expenses.

High school guidance counselor Stephanie Wheeler states, “I have known Caroline for 15 years as her class sponsor and a family friend. I have witnessed her drive and determination to excel academically both at the high school and collegiate level. Caroline is an extraordinary student and young lady; a hard worker and is passionate in her educational pursuit.”
