Emily’s career goal is to work in design or marketing. She has already completed her associate’s degree and is now working towards her bachelor’s degree as a full time student.

In addition to working towards completing her degrees, Emily has carried a job since she was sixteen years old and often times working double shifts to cover the costs of living independently while juggling the demands of her coursework. Emily also designs handbags, sews and crochets in her free time to enhance her abilities in her prospective degree.

Retired Oklahoma City Firefighter Lieutenant Tommy Smart worked with Emily’s father and has known her for most of her life. Lieutenant Smart confidently asserts that Emily is not only well-deserving of this scholarship but speaks of her accolades highlighting her reliability, and her outgoing and creative personality.
