Madison is currently a senior in high school. She shares that she feels it is an honor and privilege to apply for this scholarship that honors the men and women who died in the line of duty, as did her father Ryan. She plans to work on campus while studying and participating in research. Her career goal is to become a physician’s assistant.
She understands that to pursue excellence, one must be a Good Samaritan and she finds ways to contribute to her community. Madison volunteers with her local food pantry, assisting with the stair climbs and former golf tournament in the Rochester area, and finding ways to bring awareness of the NFFF to people who are unaware of the support the NFFF provides to the families of fallen firefighters.
Nicole Baker, World Language Teacher says, “Madison is dedicated and conscientious in her studies. She has a friendly and caring personality that allows her to work well with a variety of peers. She actively participates in class and is always willing to help explain concepts to her peers. Madison’s work ethic and dedication is an admirable trait to see in a young woman.”
