Marissa’s career goal is to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with an eventual Master’s degree and become an Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
In addition to her college workload, Marissa also participated in Make a Difference Day volunteering for the elderly in a nearby town. She also volunteers at the local food pantry in her hometown during the summer.
Robin Walicki, CTE Health Occupations & Allied Health Instructor, cites Marissa’s dedication and strong desire to succeed while showing attention to detail and concern about the results of her work. She notes her positive attitude, patience and eagerness as reasons she will succeed in this career path and highly recommends that she be chosen for a scholarship.
