Olivia is currently a senior in high school. She will attend the University of North Florida this fall where she plans to pursue her education business education. Upon graduation, her career plans are to obtain a job in the business field and hopes to one day start her own business.

Olivia is currently involved in Beta, Interact, and serves as the president of the Future Business Leaders of America club. Her involvement in these clubs provides her with numerous opportunities to perform volunteer work throughout the local community. Through these opportunities, she learned skills such as leadership, effective communication, and organization. When not studying or volunteering, she assists with caring for her brother with Downs Syndrome.

Lieutenant Matthew Avera says, “I have witnessed Olivia lead by example in the classroom, in extracurricular activities, and in the work force. She is diligent and motivated in all that she does. Olivia is currently a high school dual enrolled student at Florida Gateway College. She will graduate with honors and will hold her associate degree. Olivia is a well-rounded, highly motivated student who always helps others, as did her father, and strives to make the world a better place.”
