Emergency and Hazardous Chemical Inventory Forms, commonly referred to as Tier II’s, are a set of forms that certain organizations and businesses must file on an annual basis. These forms contain valuable information for first responders including hazardous chemicals above certain thresholds. At the end of the webinar, you’ll learn how, through our partnership with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, you can file Tier II’s and make a difference.

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) announced that Benzol Group, a division of The Environmental Compliance Group, LLC is offering Tier II Chemical Inventory Report Preparation in recognition and support of the Foundation. For every report sold between January 11 and February 15, 2016, 10 percent of the filing cost will be donated to the NFFF.

“We appreciate Benzol Group’s generous support of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s mission to honor the fallen, offer support to their families and help reduce firefighter line-of-duty injuries and deaths each year. Providing firefighters with the information contained in these Tier II reports has the potential to save lives.” said Ronald J. Siarnicki, executive director of the NFFF.

Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA) Tier II forms capture information about the types, quantities and locations of hazardous chemicals at a given facility. The form also lists contact information for the facility’s designated emergency point-of-contact. They are reported on an annual basis to the state as well as local agencies tasked with emergency planning and response.

“We are proud to have joined with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to help spread the word about the importance of filing up-to-date Tier II Chemical Inventory Reports. Together our organizations can educate a larger audience about this important information and contribute to saving firefighters and other first responders,” said Karl Nigg, COO of Benzol Group.
