The NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 4, will feature a powerful tribute to America’s fallen heroes.

Jesse Love will drive the Richard Childress Racing No. 2 Whelen Chevrolet Camaro, carrying the names of 140 firefighters honored during the 2025 National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. The car’s special paint scheme includes the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) logo.

Before the 5:00 pm race, the tribute car will be unveiled in the Fan Zone for families of the fallen, who will also attend the race thanks to Whelen Engineering.

“Seeing the names of our fallen heroes carried at Charlotte Motor Speedway is a moving reminder of the bravery and sacrifice of these firefighters,” said NFFF Chief Executive Officer Victor Stagnaro. “We are grateful to Whelen Engineering, Richard Childress Racing, and Jesse Love for their continued commitment to honoring the fire service and supporting our families.”

Now in its fourth year, the partnership between NFFF, Whelen Engineering, and RCR ensures the sacrifices of fallen firefighters are honored on one of racing’s biggest stages.
