  1. On September 8th, 2016 I performed a small act of service in memory of Mr. Apostol. Though not much, I hope that turning my friend’s apples into 9 pints of jelly for her honors Mr. Apostol’s memory. Like many others, I hope we never forget his sacrifice. I also earnestly hope that, through continued small acts of service by myself and others, Mr. Apostol’s legacy can live on.

  2. On September 12, 2020, I will do the memorial stair climb carrying Mr. Apostol 110 stories to complete his journey. It is an honor to carry Mr. Apostol. I love to read about his family and the joy he brought to so many. It’s hard to describe how it feels to walk the stairs thinking of the person you are carrying. I have been doing this for years and each one has become a part of who I am in some way or another. I love the devotion of this family man and realize that’s one of the connections. Blessings to his family as they remember him on this 19th anniversary.
