2026 Congressional Flag Presentation Ceremony

As part of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, the Congressional Flag Presentation Ceremony is a special opportunity to recognize and honor America’s fallen fire heroes.

During this ceremony, American flags that have been flown above the United States Capitol will be formally presented to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation in honor of the firefighters being honored this year.

In preparation for the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, these flags will be flown above the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. They will then be given to the loved ones of each honored firefighter as a lasting symbol of remembrance and a grateful nation’s respect.
