Bid on Jimmie Johnson’s “Helmet of Heroes”
A one-of-a-kind piece of motorsports history is helping advance firefighter safety.
Beginning June 21 at 2 pm ET / 11 am PT, fans and supporters will have the opportunity to bid on Jimmie Johnson’s custom “Helmet of Heroes” during a 10-day eBay auction. The helmet was worn by the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion during the 2026 DAYTONA 500 and personally signed by Johnson on the visor.
The auction launches just hours before Johnson returns to the track for the Anduril 250 in his home region of Southern California.
This special auction is presented in partnership with The NASCAR Foundation, Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF). Proceeds from the auction will support the NFFF’s efforts to reduce firefighter line-of-duty deaths and injuries through prevention, education, and safety initiatives.
The “Helmet of Heroes” represents more than a memorable race-day collectible—it is an opportunity to support programs that help protect the men and women who serve their communities every day.
