Firefighter Billy Joe Dunn, age 25, of the Dumas Fire Department, died on July 29, 1956, in an explosion during at the Shamrock Oil and Gas Company.

He is survived by his wife Harriet; sons Freddie, Kenneth, and Robert; his parents Mr. & Mrs. Bill Dunn; and his sister Patsy.
